  • Linux is *SERIOUSLY* falling out of favour as a Desktop OS. SO. FUCKING. SLOW! Even on “reasonable machine”. http://ping.fm/L5WWr #
  • is unbuggering his blog. Thanks you RAID5 for making it a table repair, not a box-rebuild. *mwah* to paranoia, for once :-) #
  • is thinking: To bake, or not to bake: that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of a sunk sponge #
  • The cake is not a lie! http://ping.fm/Nxaah #
  • and @Essk_ are full of curry – and between them both probably ate exactly 50% of that which was delivered. That’s Sunday lunch sorted then. #
  • Ooo Ah (just a little bit), Ooo Ah (a little bit more). Ooo Ah (just a little bit),
The pain relief I was looking for! :-) #

  • @sil: http://www.rimron.co.uk/experimental/Goat2Vote.jpg do you? :) #
  • Friday should come with free painkillers for all. New law. If Jacqui Smith can make them up as she goes along, why can’t I? Daft cowbagwhore #
  • @matthewrevell TBH, It’s her generally, but http://tinyurl.com/4qrj36 was the last straw for me. #
  • @bigcalm That’s the clients I refuse to take. You could learn a lot from this advice. TXTSPK is 21stC version of Windows. JUST. SAY. NO. #
  • @lauracowen All busses in Glasgow have that, pretty much. First Bus, perchance? #
  • @lauracowen I meant “First Bus” as in a proper now :) #

Just a Dash of Django
April 15th, 2008

So I’ve convinced gordonjcp that djangodash is a good idea… (mwahahaha)

We’ve got a few ideas of our own (my favourite being /getinvolved – of which more details are secret at this stage) but would love suggestions and to hear your ideas….

Comments below, and I’ll update this post with further details as we get them. :-)

Beer and Music?
March 7th, 2008

Over the Wall (warning, myspace, with all the evil that it involves, including autoplaying music) are playing at Oran-Mor’s Acoustic Open Night – which is odd for a band normally quite heavy on synth; but in their own words:

How the hell will that work I hear you cry!? We have tricks up our wizard’s sleeve we reply… This is actually an open mic which has a guest set from a featured artist every so often and now it is our turn – so come along not just to watch but also to participate if that is your bag of slugs. We shall wear our appearance like a rusty sheriff’s badge of honour.

So if this sounds like your thing, Essk and I would love to see you there….

(Comments for attendance welcomed on post, so can be sure you’ve got my nobile phumber , and I can keep an eye out for you :)
